Problems since installing AVG

Evening all

Yesterday I made the decision to ditch Norton and installed AVG 7.5 Internet Security free trial.

Ever since, I struggle to access any websites on AOL and on IE7 they take noticeably longer to load.

Anyone know why this may be?

I've seen site access considerably slower, when using products with phishing filters installed. Microsoft has one inbuilt into IE7, but you also get some antivirus which have phishing site protectors too. I'd look for this.

I have got to say though, that antivirus under Vista ALWYAS makes laptops run noticably slower regardless. Not too bad under XP however.
