Problem with GEFORCE GO 7400 and AVID EDITING SOFTWARE

Hello,

I´ve got a serious problem with my graphics driver, Geforce Go 7400. I bought a Vaio FE11 and now wanted to start off editing on my AVID program. The program simply doesn´t play any video, but plays audio, which seams a bit strange.
Does anyone know any hints or workarounds to actually see a picture?!

This is a known VMR video overlay problem.

Have a look at the NVIDEA FORUMS and follow the links for a fix.

thanks. unfortunately I cannot make it run, have tried everything, have even switched VMR off etc. There is no way. Could it be something else? software interference or so?

What kind of video do you want to edit?
, sounds to me like an avi video.
So maybe you should take a look at divx.com and for downloading the latest divx codec.
