nVidia - Adjust Desktop Color Settings option missing

I have VGN-AR11S, OS: Vista Ultimate 32 bit,
graphics driver version: 7.15.10.9813
I can not make any color adjustments to my display because the "Adjust Desktop Color Settings" option is missing from my NVIDIA Control Panel tasks.
I have tried to reinstall the video driver but it could not resolve this issue.

Hi raymundka.

The nVidia driver version 97.54 you are using is very old for Vista (19/12/2006).

Try a recent WHQL Driver Like this one - Ver 162.22.

Download the Driver and the Modded .INF file and install according to these Step-by-Step Installation Instructions.

It is a beta driver but you can always 'Roll-Back' to your old driver if neccessary.

I missed my driver number, actually it is ..9813 downloaded from VAIO Support Page.
I could never yet install a Forceware driver on my laptop but I will make a new attempt now.
