Hi folks
Can anyone possibly help me out of a jam here? I have been desperatly trying to get my microphone to send a signal out through my speakers - i.e. to monitor my mic. I have an XL-201 and have a home theatre system hoked up to it via S/PDIF (Optical Out).
I have the microphone connected via the front mic port. When I use such programs as Speech Recognition, or MSN MEssenger, it works fine. No sound comes out of the speakers, but the applications can 'hear' me.
I have tried all sorts of things from tinkering with the registry, to constantly going through the audio setup in Control Panel! It really is doing my head in now! There must be a way if getting my vioce to come out of the speakers as I talk into the mic surely?!
Any help on this would be very much appreciated!!
