My Blu-Ray looks rubbish! Why?

Just bought a 52" full 1080 HD LCD TV. Plugged in my laptop via a HDMi cable and the Blu-Ray looks rubbish on the TV... Any ideas. Also not getting any sound through the HDMi cable.

I assume you have an AR series.

What do you have selected as the device in control panel - sound?

You should have 'Digital Output Device selected'

Also when connected to the tv you should open the Nvidia control panel - right click on desktop - you should be able to select the output eg 720, 1080 in the settings.

Is the Blu-ray 'jerky' at all?
