Hello,
I have just bought a Sony Vaio and I need help on how to move my user account files from the windows operating hard disk to the newly created partition. I am weary of keeping my pictures and music on the side of the hard drive that may need to be reset at a future date. I have tried copying the folders over to the 'new drive', but the default settings such as start menu shortcuts goes to the original 'my documents'. I have tried deleting the original to be left with just the copy, but it does not allow me to do so.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can solve this?
Is there any user account setting where I can choose where the folders are stored?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
