Making a Media recovery disc

Hi to you all, I'm a newbie.
Vaio VGN-FS515H. Dual layer DVD+-RW
Been trying to make media recovery disc but it keeps self ejecting at about 85% with "error on disc" before completion. Using DVD-R as per the manual. Any help please,-- ruined 4 discs so far.

If or when you use the recovery disc you happen to run into problems you could always try recovering your Vaio using the HDD recovery partition.

To do this start you're vaio and when you see the vaio logo press the F10 key repeatedly, that should start the recovery process.

Is it ok to leave the disc on, as it seems to be getting a few downloads?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, the image that you have uploaded does not contain any files and therefore would be of no use to anyone really..
