Has anyone bothered by incessant fan noise on their laptop found a solution ?
I've just bought a Vaio BX297XP and even after a firmware update the fan is the noisiest I've ever heard !
I wouldn't mind if the cpu was being worked hard but this fan is permenently on and noisy when the computer is idle.
I see I'm not alone either, a quick search brought up another disgruntled user. But alas, no replies to his post.
Any suggestions welcome.
