Internet Explorer 8

Hello,

I recently, inadvertently, 'upgraded' my version of Internet Explorer to MS IE8. For various reasons I do not like the upgrade. Is there a simple way to revert back to my original version with all its settings etc as they were?

How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?
