Hi all
I've bought my VAIO and made a downgrade to XP Pro SP2.
However the graphics driver installed (available on the sony support) doesn't allow me to increase my screen resolution to greater than 1024x768.
On the device manager if i remove the display adapter (Intel 945 Express)and reboot, the screen is at full resolution. As soon as I install the driver again the resolution comes back to 1024x768 with no possibility to increase.
Does anyone else have experienced this issue?
Thx
HS
I have the same problem!!!!! Sony doesn't give any attention to this. I already sent a e-mail and they don't answer me.
We have seen this problem before with the downgrade of the TZ-Series to XP.
Unfortunately, I don't recall a solution.
What Intel graphics driver are you installing? Is it the latest Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP (exe) Version 14.31.1 available here: -

Sorry, that is all I can think of.
