Help! PCG TR1MP died after memory upgrade

I have attempted to upgrade the memory in my PCG TR1MP-put 512MB upgrade in alongside original 256 MB-all seemed to go smoothly-now computer won't turn on-no signs of life even when upgrade removed-anyone ahve any ideas?

Hi Marky72 and welcome to the forum.

This does not sound good, especially as you have reinserted the original modules. Hopefully you followed all the anti-static guidelines when inserting the new module?

If there is no sign of life at all ( no lights, no sound) I suggest that you consult an independent repairer (assuming that you are out of warranty), but be prepared to depart with big bucks
