HDD Protection under Vista and SZ1

Has anyone figured out if it is possible to install the HDD protection under Vista? How does one actually install it under XP? There's only one .SYS and one .INF file, I think, and no installer. It is probably one of those drivers that might also work under Vista, no?

The thread you gave me only reports that that guy also hasn't been able to install HDD protection yet. The link for the utilities seems to have everything BUT the HDD protection. Unless I miss something? Vaio SZ1 series here.
