Function Key

I have a intermittant problem with the fn key, when I use it with the F3&F4 keys the on screen bar does not always display? can any one explain why,I would add the sound does go up and down even when the display does not work. Regards Carl

Hi Carl,

try the following..

install the following, in order.

SFEP (Should be located in C:\drivers if not download the original pre-installed drivers from vaio support, extract the folders to locate the SFEP folder)

Sony Shared Library (located in the utilities file you downloaded the other day)
Vaio Event Service (located in the utilities file you downloaded the other day)
Setting Utility Series (located in the utilities file you downloaded the other day)


Once completed then re-boot your Vaio.

You may have to do this a couple of times..
