Slight problem here I am afraid. I am writing a report which contains a number of pictures, drawings etc which were saved on a cd and in a file on my laptop.
When I try to open the files on the cd (which I need to send to someone for checking), all the pictures etc seemed to have changed their 'type' and cannot be opened. The files are now labelled as 'File' instead as (i think) jpegs etc as originally.
Has anyone any idea what has gone wrong and how I can rectify problem please.
Thanks,
Gyron
Hi Gyron,
Was this from an old Mac? Apparently on older Macs, the days of OS 8, they didn't have extensions on the files, the operating system knew what to do with them.
Hi Kee-Lo,
Thanks for reply.
No, files were generated, filed and stored/transfered to cd via MS XP Pro on the Vaio.
