Does anybody know if theeverywair function can be used in countries other than those listed in the software? I live in Luxembourg.

It will work anywhere that you can use a 3G UTMS internet dongle in a USB port.

You may need different software if you use your own data network provider.

Well, I already have one of those so how do I go about using the internal version instead. Simply stick the SIM and see what happens?

Yes - but unless your provider is T-Mobile it will not work. Vaio only installs their communications manager software. You will need to download the generic Globetrotter software to use Everywair with another provider.
