I have just installed my xp professional on a VGN-Fs285h sony vaio laptop. I have misplaced my original installation cd's so am trying to setup the drivers manually. Downloading all preinstalled drivers and utilities form the sony vaio support site, however some drivers do not work. The ethernet driver will not mount nor will the mass controller. The nvidia driver (geForce go 6200) will not work even though it was taken form the site! can any one help
I also run linux on my computer and before the install i would get a choice of oss i wanted to go on to, how do i get this bak as i did make a separate partition for windows. 60gig windows and 20 gig kubuntu linux! and nothing is deletd off!
