I have a new Vaio VGN-TX2HP but I have not been able to make recovery media because I get an error message telling me that the recovery sector of the hard drive has been deleted. I did not delete the sector myself. However I did load on Norton Utilities and I think this program has deleted the recovery sector. Is there any way I can retrieve the recovery sector without unenstalling Norton Utilities or remastering the machine? I would like to be able to create the recovery media in case I have a problem with the machine at a later stage. Please contact me by email as below.
