When I go to the control panel -> System & Maintenance (or whatever it's called in english) it says I have a T7100 processor at 1.8 GHz...which is what the system spec should be on my VGN-AR41L.
However, when I go to the control panel and check under the device manager, and check the "Processors" it says I have a T7500 2.2 GHz processor.
Which seems weird to me. Anyone else get this? And why? And what's the correct value? I'd assume it's what the system spec says.
Sisoft's Sandra program can tell you exactly what processor you have.
Interestingly enough this is what SiSoft Sandra has to say:
Model: C2D, T7100@1.80GHz
Name: C2D 65nm 2.4-3.33GHz
Speed: 1.79GHz
So it seems they missnamed it?
Just shows you that you can't trust Windows to report things correctly.
