On my laptop i have got the wireless lan working perfectly, but the bluetooth doesnt seem to want to work, i have enabled it and the blue light on the front is on, but when i go into bluescape it says 'Turn the bluetooth power on' but i dont know how to do it, ive got XP Service pack 2 on and ive tried the windows bluetooth software buyt that isnt detecting any bluetooth devices.
am i doing anything wrong?
any help much appreciated.

Hi
Welcome to the forum:smileyhappy:
Have you right-clicked the Blue space icon and selected Power on?
Make sure that the bluetooth on the other device is also activated.
yeh ive tried to right click on Bluespace icon but all of the options are greyed out, apart from 'Open Main Window, Help and About' Its really annoying as something like this should work out of the box.
When i choose the 'enable bluetooth device' button it brings a dialog off the start menu saying 'USB Device Not Recognised, One of the devices attached to this computer has malvunctioned, and windows does not recognise it'. Ive also tried the bluetooth without the wireless lan activated as ive read this can cause conflicts, but still nothing.

Mmm Beats me.
Have a look at this link and see if there's anything on there that might help.
