Bluetooth Dongles

Hi Guys & Gals!

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I have a VGN-21E/W and as it isn't Bluethoothed, I am thinking about buying a donlge so I can bluetooth between my mobile and laptop, but wondered if anyone knows if Vista will play along with them or will it decide to have a strop and not play, therefore I would have wasted time & money!

Any ideas would be very helpful!

Hi Richard,

As far as I am aware, Belkin bluetooth Version 2 USB adapter's are Vista compatible, but check the printed system requirements prior to purchasing..

A quick note, I have a redundant Bluetooth dongle (toshiba) which I would consider selling as my laptop now has built in blouetooth,

I will look into this, as I have found various Dongles on Froogle and they vary in price dramaticallY!

I would say just a fiver? and P&P so probalby £7 in total? Click HERE to a link to PCworld, where i originally bought the product, this is the exact same one as i have, used about twice, I have all the bits and doodaas except the box (some plastic effort) the only thing I would mention is that when installing the drivers windows says it cannot verify them, but I installed on my previous computer with XP home withought any bother.

Amazon have a new Sitecom CN-512 Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter available for £5.02 although delivery is extra..
