Adding a partition: size conflict btw disk management and Shrink tool

VISTA disk mamagement report 265 GB free on C: (w total capacity 288GB). The other partition is Sony recovery hidden EISA of about 10 GB.

Now when I right click C: to shrink it, the shrink windows lists:
size before shrink: 295 MB
size of available shrink space: 92 GB
Amount of space to shrink: 92 GB
Total size after shrink: 263 Gb

Why can't I shrink more than 92 GB when there are 265 Gb free on this drive? Is it the RAID 0 which confuses Vista?

Thanks in advance

Solved my problem by giving up on Vista shrink tool.

I bought Acronis disk director v10. I works like a charm in Vista and I got my partition 😧 with all the disk space I needed
