I'm hoping somebody will be kind enough to advise me if the following is possible before I waste a lot of money!
I currently have a VGN-BX297XP notebook that comes as standard with 2x 100GB 2.5" Hard Drives. I believe these are SATA drives?

Will this work or is this not as straightforward as it seems?

Hi Steve,
You will just have to check the form factor of the drives you have installed now - a quick Google should give you the physical dimensions.
The 300GB drive you have linked is 100 X 70 X 12.5 mm and 2.5" drives come in several heights 19mm, 17mm, 12.5mm and 9.5mm.
You just need to check that your BX-Series does not use the slimline 9.5mm drive.
