Sony 40" HX853 and Netflix UK

I recently bought a Sony HX853 (40") TV and am really struggling to setup Netflix.

Appreciate if someone could clarify that this TV works and interfaces with Netflix UK??

I've searched a number of sites for instructions and one key site advises the below:-

Access Sony's "My Essentials" website (https://internet.sony.tv/customer) from your computer and sign up for an account. From "Activate Enhanced Features" register your "Internet Video on Demand."

The activate enhanced features option is not showing on the TV under any of the areas therefore not being able to enter the activation code provided on the TV into the Sony My Essentials website.

Any help and step by step guide would be most help and appreciated if anyone has been able to set this up.

Hi

I don't think you need to do that for Netflix to work. Have you registered at Netflix.co.uk yet? Once you have done that, just open the Netflix app on the TV and enter your details and you should be set.
