I notice Vewd is going to be removed from my Sony Tv. Is it going to be replaced with something else? If not how am I to download apps I want/ need??
Thanks Mike. I don’t understand why Sony had not thought about this in advance with a solution to hand. Did they think no-one would object? It’s very odd!

All Sony coustmers who bought Smart TV they are using the Smart services, thats why they bought it in the first place, those who dont use it becouse Smart services are not soo smart (they are not with good quality or as other TV companies applications ) those people mostly will buy additional devices.
Both ways, Sony is the responsible and the Most important thing that they knew it before .
they knew that this services will Stop and did nothing, they knew and they continue to Sell there TVs as smart TV ..how this could be possible ? Why ?
If they think all there TVs selling is not worth and they are gladly damaging their rapitution they can just shut there production off from now

There is no way they dont knew it and see this comming , there are contracts with other companies and there is end time and planing beforehand on long term.
They just hide it, possible financial problems lead to this, and they decided to put it on customers backs
They know but dont care about it, its the same with the smartphones, they are seliing xperia z2 z3 with android 4.2.2 , whyyyyyyy??????? There is no support with there products in garanty, only the new ones. What is bad is for god. Never sony again!!!!

They knew they were going to stop the apps and still they sold the tvs to the public . They " Sony" are just hoping that we will get fed up and give up . Pls don't .
Yes, that makes sense. They would do better to tell us what the problem is and what they intend to do to put it right for the customers affected. It’s not that hard!
Problem is they didnt renew the contract with Vuze
They intend on doing nothing do put it right, you can call them (like I have) and they will confirm this to you.
They also dont really understand it on the phone as they keep saying the TV is still a smart TV, but without apps, this is simply not true..
