Problem with sony tv kdl-22cx32d sound

Hi all.

I've had the above tv for a while and had no problems until I installed sky.

Now, when watching sky, I get a mute in sound at irregular intervals. Have changed the hdmi, changed the sky box, but still no joy in eradicating it.

Any ideas?

you more or less answered your own question there, since it only started with installing Sky, have you taken this up with them?

Thanks for the speedy reply.

I took it up with sky initially, and they changed the hdmi cable. Then, when the problem persisted, they gave me a new sky box.

So, unless they were both faulty, it would seem to be a problem with the tv.

But Wierd I agree.

Hi again,

i wish i could advise further however i do not have Sky, but i'll hazard a guess its something to do with the Audio settings output from the Sky box, surprised the Sky engineer did'nt sort this for you !, have a look in the menu of the Sky box under Audio and play around with that till it sounds right.

or hold out and see if someone else pops on that has Sky that can advise further.
