Hi All,
UK Customer here.
I have a Bravia KDL55-HX853 and bought a wall mount for it.
Only problem is that the power cord seems too short for the height I need it wall mounted at.
Anyone else had this issue?
How did you get round it?
Can you buy a new (longer) power cord?
What type of cord is is that you need?
Are any of these cords the ones I need:

The standard "kettle" lead seems a lot fatter than the one plugged into the back of the TV.
I checked the back and didn't seem to be able to remove the part connecting the cord to the TV. Either that or it was on very tight. Didn't want to try too hard for fear of damaging it.
I don't know what else to do because if I use an extension then you would see it on the wall which wouldn't look that nice. Ideally was hoping to hide all cables with trunking and not need to smash holes in the wall.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
Cheers

No the cable in your link will not work because the power cable on Bravia TV's are hardwired so it's not as simple as removing the lead and replacing with a longer one.
Possibly the most economic solution would be use an extension cable, if it's only for your Bravia TV then you could choose a single gang extension cable which would be easier to conceal.
