Ive' just got a new kdl-55hx853, but how do I view pictures from a digital camera? The I-Maual mentions several times the ability to connect to digital cameras but doesn't really say how other than to connect it, switch it on, then select it from the list.
So I connect it using the usb cable, switch it on, I get a message on the TV saying a USB device has been connected, then... nothing.
I press the input select button but the only (non-grey) options are "tv", the HDMI ports, and AV1. So it can only really be AV1 out of that lot, but that just doesn't do anything. Just an empty screen.
I've tried two different cameras, each with their own USB cable, but nothing happens with either. The TV does recognise that a USB device has been connected, and the cameras go into their special 'connected' mode like they do when connected to a PC. But I just don't see where I'm supposed to 'see' the camera...?
