I have a Bravia TV with built in iplayer. I usually try to watch programmes in "higher quality", however increasingly I have been having a problem where the programme stops several times during playback to buffer the data. This can be infuriating and stops enjoyment of the programme as it keeps on stopping.
I did assume that it might be the lack of bandwidth, but this is not the problem, because I can do a bandwidth test on a PC also conncted to my home network during playback and I always get 10Mbps even though the program keeps stalling.
The TV is connected by an ethernet cable to the network. I.e. not wifi.
Is anyone else having this problem? What can be done about it?
