Hi, I have a KDL-42W654A which is often used with Skype since purchasing the recommended camera CMU-BR200.
I have had an expensive lesson not to hot plug the camera USB plug in when the set is running. When I did this the screen flashed and blew the camera. Morale! Turn off the TV before hand.
The install instructions never mention this
Just thought i`d share this as the camera`s are not cheap. The TV was not damaged as a new camera is now working perfectly.
