Yellow tint

Anyone else have a yellow tint on their display?? I have it quite bad on the bottom of the display and both left and right hand edges of display running from top to bottom. Is it possible with a firmware update that this issue could be eliminated. J had read on one forum that ICS update SHOULD solve it. Something to do with the colour calibration. I have also heard that it could be to do with colour temperature of screen,  or the glue that was used to put display together.

Any advice would be gladly appreciated as this is ruining my experience with this device.

I gave it another test for 20 min hit 43C still no yellow tint

Sony service center told me: "In the course of checking the quality revealed that there were stains on the screen under strong pressure on the touch screen, which is mechanical and not correct operation of the apparatus." Do something, Sony!

i wish u goodluck bro to be among the people who got lucky and doesnt hv the yellow tint. im like u as well, i thought i did stress the phone long enough but unfortunately for me the yellow start appearing slowly at 1 spot and spread....

^^^THIS^^^ With all the negatives that some said against buying phones online ie. eBay, I should say that there is no other choice. One thing that Sony should notice is that since phone is not released in many countries, many people buy them online. I mean unless a carrier carries it (which happens mostly in Europe and some countires in Asia) most of people have bought it some how online.

Tint doesn't show up right away. Actually for a moderate user like me it didn't show up for almost 3 weeks so its really hard to see it at first and since I was among the first adopters of this phone then I wasn't sure the problem is there.

I think Sony doesn't know what is wrong since even repaired phone come back with issue.

Sony, I know this is embarassing but this is not the way to deal with it.

Depends where you got it. If in India then if they have the supplies to repair then they will or maybe replace. If you bought it online like the rest of us, then good luck. I have contacted everywhere but they don't want to take care of their own mess. We will see, who is the person to lose. Customers or Sony.

also facing another problem like no audible touch sounds ...

and no camera shutter sound ..

i checked they are on

but still no sound

Then you are good to go man. I have to contact eBay seller and see if he could help any further. Not a comfortable situation.
