After uninstalling a bunch of apps like nova launcher, weather plus, digital clock (all downloaded from play) I found my phone to be slower, so I tried to repair my phone. I had battery 85%, and was already having ICS on my phone.
But it seems the repair crashed and it also failed to take the backup. I tried update service (reboot phone with volume down key pressed), first it didn't do anything, but after around 8 minutes the green light turned on and the software progressed, it finished without errors. But my phone is not booting after that.
I've tried the updte service again, it takes 8-10minutes for that green light to turn up and start updating. It updates and finished properly but is not booting. That small (top right) red led glows when I plug in my usb cable to show it is charging, but as far as I know the charging was already 85%... plus I had spend another hour with usb plugged in.... which should make the led turn green for charging level.
Needs ur advice on the booting problem after all that...
I'm not sure what had happened, Software gone? Internal storage prob? Xperia home was stopped/disabled and it never started again? or the battery is gone?

See below for details on how to perform a system repair
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

PC comapanion was simply not detecting the phone, nothing could be done. I had been trying n tryin from past 9hrs now. But suddenly the phone got connected. What i've found is that we have to keep the phone plugged-in even if nothing is working on the screen.
All the time was phone was connected to the computer still the battery got drained out to 2%, was not able to understand what had happened inside the switched-off phone. Had put phone for charging again....
Thx so much for a prompt reply, sure it will help somebody in near future
