Xperia tipo with white screen

Hi,

My Xperia Tipo got frozen on a white screen. I've tried removing the battery and updating software via PC companion but nothing happens, everytime I turned it on it goes white. The Home keys still vibrate as well as the screen when touched.

Is the monitor broken or is there another reason?
