Xperia T keeps switching off and on since last update

Hi,

My Xperis T keeps switching off and on since the last scheduled update to Android 4.1.2.

I have tried overnight charging whilst phone is off but the situation keeps happening.

Any advice or assistance woud be helpful, especially from Sony Techs Support please.

Can I reverse the update?

my experia does the same thing when i unplug it and goto camera it shuts off and will not turn on till i plug it in the battery health status says ok i think some kind of class action thing should happen they told me the manufacturers 15 month warrantee was up ive only owned the phone for just over a year maybe 13 months they said it wasnt their fault that rogers kept the phone for few months before selling it to me what kind of b.s. is this does anyone know a good lawyer im in canada and am currently trying to look into things because this crappy service and blame game ohhh its googles fault my phone worked on jellybean went to kit kat now phones a paperweight flashed back to jellybean because yes there is a version out there for most experias and it doesnt void warranty so i flashed back and i still get the same thing it shuts off and goes to sony screen then off again till i plug in charger so ya im thinking people need to get together and deal with this problem as a whole instead of individual customers just so you know i have an experia zl

I've been facing the same problem just like all the other Xperia the owners. Please sort this Sony. I've even tried a factory reset and I still have the problem. I have 6 Monthe of my contract left till I can upgrade

Same problem here, Xperia T used to work just fine but now battery level being below 80% it turns off 2-5 times a day. Is it software or hardware problem?

Have same problem like all these xperia people. Can't turn my one at all... Going to try replace battery myself(because nothing else helped) and see if that's going to help. If anyone has any other good news how to bring it to life please share it!

XperiaS. Maybe just a reboot -without a new battery- could work? The upgrade install package could be bad.

All batteries would not fail at same time. Only common factor is upgrade. Sony would like to know if you opened up the fone. Then they can blow your consumer rights away. Developers are like politicians... feed lots of bullshine till a resolution is found. I have lots of Sony kit, but have never got anything out of them when I was desperate for support. Lots of time waiting on fone and no response to email. Time for a change.

SONY XPERIA T shutting down and rebooting mine has been doing since I updated software nearly a year ago, the phone gets mega hot, waiting for it to burst into flames.  Due for a new deal with O2 within next 10 weeks, reading posts looks like many have this problem, was going to upgrade to say a Z2 thinking going LG now!

Me too !!! for the last 4 weeks - Folowing advice from Sony i did a repair online but it didnt work. At the moment its just stopped and stuck and i cant turn it off it just wont do anything

Same for me too! No point having a phone if I am missing calls because it is switching itself off. Shocked to see it is a common problem for Expedia t's. Surprised sony haven't provided a solution. It's a shame, I have always had sony phones, like them a lot until now. Fortunately, I am due an upgrade and will be changing to another brand. This is quite an easy decision for me to do, but do sony not worry about the huge loss of custom from all the other Expedia t owners with 24 mth contracts about to expire? Bye bye sony, thanks for quality update, not !
