Xperia T keeps switching off and on since last update

Hi,

My Xperis T keeps switching off and on since the last scheduled update to Android 4.1.2.

I have tried overnight charging whilst phone is off but the situation keeps happening.

Any advice or assistance woud be helpful, especially from Sony Techs Support please.

Can I reverse the update?

Sorry, but it's not like to be a battery problem

1) Before the upgrade I had absolutely no problems, battery last for a day (24 hr).

2) After the update, big problems. Tried to use the phone without a sim card for a day and no problem. With the SIM placed in the holder, the problems begin after a few hours. After the first restart many will follow. Only sollution is to take the sim out and put it back in. After that, problems are solved for a few hours.

It seem to be SIM card related but I can't see a relation between sim card and 4.3 update. Because with the "old" version, I had absolutely nog problems!!!!

So, please Sony. Develop a sollution for us or give the opportunity to downgrade!!!!

Install the latest software, hope repair those bugs.

I've installed the software twice, so that couldn't be the problem anymore. Still facing the same problems. After putting out the Sim and put it back in, the phone is stabel for 8 hours. After that the problems begin en the phone starts to restart over and over.

Have you sent your phone back to Sony to be sorted??

I don't believe it to be the update, my phone is doing the same thing and I haven't done the update because I cannot find a reliable WiFi connection

it worked for me, I bought the battery from the link you sent and then got it replaced.

The phone now works again as expected.

mine does exactly the same 85% and switches itself off then comes back on with less battery life

Mine does the same. Since being updated keeps turning off. Must be a software. Issue. Phone works better without. The sim card inserted and plugged into the charger.

I have the same problem !!! Should send it to customer care ???? They can solve it on warranty ?
