Hi,new to the forum and my first post. My sony xperia SP (which i love) has a 16gig mem card in it but HOW do i manage to tranfer ALL my apps onto the external storage instead of internal?
It wont let me install any apps and i KNOW my mem card is empty. Now dont berate me,im not a high tech guy. I roll with my PS3 anfd PS4 and this is my 2nd Xperia after the Miro. I'll likely upgrade to Z2 in July...... but meantime..
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME QUICK FIX A WAY TO HAVE THE PHONE AUTOMATICALLY STORE ALL APPS ,IMAGES,AUDIO etc ONTO THE EXTERNAL MEMORY? Im not lazy,i have loked for these options but cant find the options or am looking in the wrong place. As i said,im not phonesmart lol. I kind of learn as i go but currently cant install any lego apps for my kid on his Miro and i also cant install Bitstrips on my SP and BOTH phones have the same problem. Internal mem is full while external has 16gigs free. Am i being really stupid and missing something so obvious here? Please help
Solved! Go to Solution.
You have to root your device to be able to move applications to your external SD card. And they might stop woking because google has dropped support for that.
Thanks guys. So basically i just need to delete some apps then? Thats weird though becuase it lets me save Games from the app store direct onto my external hardrive. Oops i tell a lie actually, that was from a fileshare site...but STILL,its weird cos its a game from the app store.
I really need to start learning how to use this phone more proficiently! Thanks for both your replies ppl
You need to install apps and games on the internal memory and learn to move media files to SD.
Learn im willing to do. Can you point me in a helpful direction? Link to explain the process etc? Appreciated:smileypeace:
EDIT: File Commander ?
