I updated my SP like normal, and as soon as it booted, it is so much slower than it was before, can someone please help me to fix this, or help me return it back to the older version of android, where it was fine?
Thanks in advance.

Yes apparently it does run in compatibility mode, although I have not tried it yet, but why should newer and older versions of similar phones be supported in Windows 8 and not the SP. And I read that the SP will not now get the promised KItKat.
I am sorry, but I am not working for sony and I do not have update info.

My Xperia SP is very slow and laggy. Apps often report they're not responding.
I've unsintalled any bloatware. I've tried updating the software (on the current version) and also running a repair - which it tells me that it can't do, as I'm already on the latest version.
So yes I've already tried the PC Companion and the Update Service (run in Win7 compatibility)
Anything else to try before this phone finds a new life as a doorstop?
