Xperia SP INCREDIBLY slow after new update

I updated my SP like normal, and as soon as it booted, it is so much slower than it was before, can someone please help me to fix this, or help me return it back to the older version of android, where it was fine?

Well the gremlins have returned and my SP is lagging again. Had enough now. I hope kitkat arrives soon. SONY you have ruined this phone with your poor quality software updates.

Just thought I'd post as I'm getting the same issues.

I tried uninstaling the Chrome updates and this did work for a few days but the phone has gone back to being very laggy. Get frequent 'xxx is not responding', it takes a good few seconds to unlock and keystrokes are very laggy.

Really considering getting rid of the phone as its a real pain to use now.

Sony please make downgrade script on 4.1.2 its perfect. This 4.3 is unusable.

Since installing the SUS recommended update (4.3), the phone is almost usable, very slow and keeps becoming unresponsive.

Phoned Sony support......  after going through a few diagnostics, the chap told me it was a fault with the Sim card.

Phoned Orange to get a replacement Sim.....  a few over the network dianogstics later, no fault found with Sim. Sony software issue.

Sony is blaming Orange, Orange is blaming Sony.

Don't care who caused the fault, just want to get it fixed ! ! ! !

Same for me, disabled Google Chrome helped a little but why should we have too??  The handset was quite capable of running it until the update!  So I have the same issue, Vodafone blame Sony, Sony blame Google, its a farce!  I will never ever purchase a Sony or Vodafone handset again, never!

Sony please release a solution, I have another 18 months on my contract and a phone that is unusable!!

'Sony Update Service' does not appear to support the SP...

It does,run it in compatibility mode with windows 7.
