While taking pics and videos I've noticed some prominent black spots on them. I've resetted my phone, tried another camera app but these marks are still there. My phone is hardly 5 months old, and Ive taken good care of it i.e. never dropped, never exposed to liquid.

I did a survey on this problem right now and found many users who are facing this problem. How much time sony center will take to repair it and during that time are they going to provide any alternate phone to me?
No one can answer that questions as it varies per country, region and / or parts availability
Submitted my phone to the Sony service centre (Bangalore, India)day before.. They told me that they will contact me in the evening to tell how many days they're gonna take, since then no one called, when I called them back next day they said it will take 4-5 working days. When I asked for the stand-by handset they repeated the same thing again that they will call me back in the evening, no one called me afterwards. At least they should understand that how Ill manage everything without phone, I had not purchased the product to give it for repairing in the centre, niether I'll purchase a new phone for 4-5 days or a week. Some of my friends are having cellphones of Indian brands, even they got the standby cell when their cell was under repair. Never expected this from sony.
Called up sony center and was surprised to know that the PHONE IS READY!! Wow!! Within just 2 days I got my cell back in my hands :smileyhappy:. They replaced the camera unit and updated the s/w version. Only thing they should enhance is to keep the customer updated regarding the servic as I had to call theem everytime to check the status. Really happy with the quality of service. Keeping my fingers crossed, hope it will work fine for a longer period of time.

Hi, Abhijit, I will advise you to call on the xperia care number 1800-3000-2800. I called them and told them my problem, he gave me a reference number and told me to submit my phone to sony service centre, he gave me address of sony service centre along with the contact number. When I went there I told them that I already talked to the customer care, they asked for the reference number and they took my phone to examine against any physical damage or exposure to liquid. After half-an hour they told me that its camera will be replaced and will take upto 4 working days.
