Xperia SP, again, can't turn off the phone

I press & hold the power button but turn off menu does not appear, power button is ok , also screenshot combination not working.

I install an app that can turn off the phone but can this be done without this app ?

How to update the phone os?

Try to connect your phone to a PC/Mac that has Xperia Companion installed, then check if there are any updated pending. I'd suggest that you do a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Follow the steps given in the blue link, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable

Are you sure you didnt hard brick the phone? Because your sotuation is very likely to.. Remember, xperia companion Wont detect a brick/broken phone.. The only way to see if it is still alive is checking if the xperia companion proceeds when you do the commands. Brick schenes: Normal phone: Boot to rom1 Hard brick: ?????? Broken (umm, guys the user is saying me to power but i cant see the power command where it always was, and looking for it wont help!) Soft brick: Boot to broken Also, have you been installing Ny apps with suspicious permissions from anywhere? Hackers have satisfaction from your dead phone and loss of money. Also, battery can be broken or you deleted system files
