hi i updated my sony xperia s with pc companion it then told me to unplug my phone from the laptop and turn it off and then on to complete the update but it won't!!
it keeps showing the sony logo and then reboot , i tried to press the power bottom and the volume up bottom and waited for 3 vibrations but this didn't worked plz help me with this thank you

exactly that, install SUS > restart your PC > disable your firewall and antivirus > run SUS > press and hold power & volume up then connect your phone
use SUS instead

can u plz explain for me what to do because my phone is turning off an on always should i press the power bottom and the volume up bottom to force it to close then what should i do and what links should i dowload from those u mentioned thx for the fast reply

hey after the update everything worked fine but when i tried to open the camera (video camera) it was lagging and a little bit slow what should i do? ,it was perfect with ICS.

Run a repair using either PCC or SUS found here http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
