Xperia S sim card problem

Hi everyone,

I've bought Sony Xperia S, very nice device,

But I have a problem that makes me really sad,

My xperia s refuse to accept any micro sim card, I insert one after another from different operators in my country "Egypt" but all don't work,

When put the micro sim, the phone feels it and do a restart to be prepared to use the newly inserted micro sim buy after restart it keeps telling me " no sim card" despite the micro sim in correctly cut & inserted,

I've tried software update & repair , also many different micro sims,  but useless

Can you help me with that !!!?

Since you've tried both a software update and a repair, this may be a hardware fault, assuming the phone is not network-locked--either way, I suggest you contact the seller and ask for information regarding its origin, or simply ask for a refund.

Did you buy this phone from another country?, as it may be locked into a particular network which would explain why it will not accept any of the Egyptian operators' SIM cards.

You need to contact the network to which the phone is locked into and ask them for the unlocking code.Do you know which mobile network this is?
