I have a problem with the phone, the Xperia phone working properly but the battery label shows that the phone is charging but the phone is not connected to the charger and steadily so.

When the phone is switched off and plug the charger it displays that charges the battery when you disconnect  charger battery phone  gives normal picture batteries but begins turned on the light indication and is sore.

Just do a repair using PCC. If you are interested you can try a factory reset before repairing, it may help!

Yes,you could repair but use sony update service.

I sometimes have the opposite bug... I plug my Xperia and verify that the icon says charging, but after a while is shows a decrease of charge even when I am not using the phone at all.

In normal circumstances, you should not be doing this but because it may be a connector issue, you can try this. Unscrew all screws on the back panel, slowly lift up the panel near the light bar, you should be able to remove the battery and put it back. Restart and see whether the issue is resolved.
