Hello!
So basically I have been having this weird problem since a couple of weeks.
When I open the camera app to takes pictures it sometimes happens that my screen goes black, no picture was taken (if I look at my SD later on, it's just a blank picture file with a size of 0kb), then the phone reboots.
Is there anyone who experience the same? Might a factory reset solve this?
Kind regards

I'd 1st open settings then Apps and swipe to all then locate and open Camera then tap force close then Clear cache and Clear data then reboot and test or you could try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Hello,
I repaired the phone through the PC Companion and it did seem to work. I've tried the camera more than a couple of times and I have had no issues with it so far, so thank you a lot! I'm glad it isn't a hardware-related issue (or at least it doesn't seem to be so far?)
The only thing that occured after the repair was my mobile internet which does not seem to work anymore. Could this have anything to do with the repair? I looked up my provider to see how to manually set up my phone's mobile internet, and it tells me to go to "Mobile network settings" and then "Access Point Names", however while in the "Access Point Names" menu, only the title "APNs" is displayed, but nothing else is loading?
Okay so that problem got solved by contacting my provider.
The only problem I still have after the repair is that the USB won't connect my MacBook anymore. I can access the files when I open up Sony Bridge, the the phone does not show up in my computer itself as a drive, when before it did. Could this have anything to do with the repair?
