xperia p sms tone problem

I am using xperia p & jelly bean last 6 months without any problem. But now I m facing a problem.i don't always get the sms notification tone (fb notification is ok).though other tone & vibration is still working. I check the setting & it is ok. So I restore the setting. Then I notice that everything is ok but after 2days the problem is again noticed.what can I do now??

no.I use only facebook & fb massenger. both are always up to date. Above all post is mine. so give an advice as soon as poasible based on previous info.

Have you tried the last solution with turning the default notification to silent?I think you should repair phone software with SUS,you have a better chance of it working after.

Yes I tried. And it worked for few days. Now it doesn't work. I only get the vibrate notifiaction. I m using the latest version 4.1.2 build number 6.2.A.1.100. That means I have to reinstal the JB?? Is there any way to repair using wifi connection in phone? That means without using SUS.

Nope,the best way to repair is using SUS or PCC.But SUS is recommended.

I wished people would not allways use abbreviations. What is SUS or PCC?? a bit more effort to spell out things would really help beginners too.
