Widgets are disappearing after reboot Xperia S JB

Hi,

a few weeks are gone since i updated my Xperia S to JB firmware .200 by PCCompanion!

No I've the weird issue, that some widgets(BW widget; moonphase; Runtastic) are vanishing or settings(Swiftback) were set back after reboot of the device.

I did a factory reset for many times now, also by PC Companion, but the issue remains. I never had a custom rom on my device or rooted it!

Is this issue known by sony and will it solved with .211 firmware?? If then I'll await the update.

thanks

Any news on this issue?

just upgraded to Jelly Bean and started losing widgets on reboot. I can confirm it only seems to effect paid apps.

No news so far!

There is a workaround which makes it easier to setup the whole stuff after reboot. But for that you need a rooted device and the Titanium-Backup tool I think.

Hope Sony is working on Update!

Unfortunately with a locked bootloader that doesn't help. Let's hope they fix it quickly. (but it'll still take O2 12 months to release it)

After doing some research it seems this is a JB 4.1 issue that's fixed in 4.1.2 and 4.2.2. So would affect all phones with firmware based on JB 4.1. Given the length of time taken to roll out 4.1, I dispair that this bug may be around until they move to the next version.

I also have SwiftKey that I need to re-configure every time I turn my phone off. I have xperia TX with firmware 4.1.2

My other 2 widgets which won't load after phone is turned off and then on are :

1.  Beautiful Widgets Pro

2.  Enhanced SMS & Caller ID+

On both these once i turn phone off and then back on I get a red square/rectangle where these widgets are supose to be with the wording "Can not load widget".

The only solution I have found is to the "bin" the widget and then install it again...but same thing happens once phone is turned off. All three of these are paid apps.

My son has my old Arc with the same widgets but no problems as he does not have Jellybean.
