It couldn’t even satisfy the basic functions of a phone. Very slow and bad performance after the update to 11.0.A.7.5
I tried to repair the phone using the PC companion and then I tried SUS update but still the problems are remaining the same. After that I give my phone in Sony service centre but they failed to rectify the problems. They couldn’t even downgrade my phone to its original firmware.
So kindly send me the original downgrade firmware (11.0.A.3.18) as soon as possible.

Actually this phone purchased a week ago was working fine till yesterday. However the moment when I restarted the phone today, there is a huge delay/lag in typing (it does not respond to the key press and taking too much time to show up the text) and also lag while unlocking the screen (almost I need to try for 4 to 5 times to unlock the screen). Basically it has become too slow...What shall I do now??
The Build version is the same that you have mentioned (11.0.A.7.5). Just wanted to confirm whether it was the same problem that you encountered before taking JB update.

i also confronted the same problems..
delay, text msging seems very laggy, very slow response,couldn't unlock the screen,i couldn't even attend a call...
just formating and reseting wont come to use.
Just connect your phone to pc using pc companion and update to 4.1.2 ,
build number 11.2.A.0.21
all your problems will be rectified..

Thanks Buddy!! will give it a try in a day or two...but currently I did factory reset and now it is ok..I am sure this problem will turn up when i restart again..

Even after taking the Jelly Bean update (11.2.A.0.21) still the same story continued..I was really irritated and frustrated..Finally this link came to my help

I had seen this before but did not install due to 3rd party software..
The only reason I opted Sony is for their QUALITY products..they have failed in this case..My previous Sammy was much better but had little intemittent restart problems but still I was satisfied..
c'umn Sony don't give me a chance to loose hope completely..

a new update for xperia j is available. connect your xperia j to pc and update to the latest version. it might come to use. just try it.. all the best..
if you have installed any antivirus or ram booster etc pls uninstall all those softwares. dont install any 3 rd party updates , it will brake your warranty. use only the sony pc companion for the update..
is it the same JB update (11.2.A.0.21) you are talking about??

Why You Are baring such a pain??
If product fails to function in desired manner, you must take replacement from Sony India.
or
Get refund if they deny to asist you in any case by logging case in Consumer Court..!!
Sony has Launched Phone Xperia series without Any Real Time Testing..!!
Even I am Suffering Using "Xperia J".
There is no confirm Solution to this from Sony India.!
