Unable to listen music on xperia Miro with Nokia BH 108

Hi,

I bought a new Nokia BH 108 for my Xperia Miro, i am able to connect through bluetooth to my Miro and i am unable to listen music and unable to listen any sound in bluetooth.

Does Nokia BH 108 supports xperia miro.

Please provide a way to sort aout this problem.

From what I can see this headset doesn't support A2DP (which is the bluetooth protocol that enables music listening), just HSP and HFP (used for making phone calls). So they seem compatible, but you can't listen to music due to limitations in the headset.

Thanks for the reply but with the same Bluetooth headset i am able to listen music on my Nokia 5230 and i am unable to listen music on my Xperia Miro.

How come can i solve this problem.

Well, then the Nokia 5230 might use some kind of mono-streaming for music, which isn't possible in any Sony phone (or Android in general, I believe).

Hi vinay,

i installed a software called 'btmono' from playstore. Connect ur bt headset to ur phone. then switch on this app. If still it doesn work try switching off and on this app while the bt is connected to ur phone. Tested this on xperia s and BH 108 nokia headset. Hope it helps. Let me know if u need further help

Hi I bought Nokia BH 108 Bluetooth and I connected to my Sony xperia j...
But when I want to connect to my bro mobile I.e., Sony xperia Miro...
when I search it doesn't appearing
and when on Bluetooth in xperia j it automatically asking for connecting....
but it didn't connecting for xperia Miro.....
wat's the solution......

hi 1st disconnect it frm ur phn & switch off and on it then pair with other phn. ..
If then also not connecting v should flash the headset: switch off it press and hold up to 8 s green led blinks speedly or red & green leds alternate at the same time search ur device & pair it thats all Mmh...
