Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

I'm pretty sure that this topic must have been brought up before using different keywords, but i couldn't find it.

I bought a XSP (C5303) recently and afterwards only i found out about this internal memory issue. Having all the right specs for a powerful midrange, especially the GPU, I'm unable to install a couple of large games. I have already purchased asphalt, n.o.v.a and need for speed but because i cannot move the app data i'm limited to one or two games at a time

I even bought a 32gb UHS-1 memory card thinking that it'll be good when playing games. right now i have no use of the memory card also. I searched on the internet and saw people telling to root and partition my sd card and on some other place i saw then telling to do withoutrooting using the SDK platform tools and adb. If there are solutions to fix this, what is the best method?

Please help. And is there gonna be a fix to this issue in the upcoming 4.3 update? If there is NOT, i badly want to find a solution. Please help

Root your phone, install App2SD or Birectory Bind et voila... You will lose your warranty, but who cares...

thanks mate. so does this require partitioning of the sd card? i tried doind that once from the Aparted but i really couldnt figure out how to do it. i already rooted my phone by downgrading the kernel and reflshing the latest one. doing the rest is where im clueless now. 😕

Please somebody provide me with a good source i could use to sort out the XSP storage problem. I have several games with big app data (asphalt/n.o.v.a. 3/most wanted/max payne) but i cant keep al of them because i dont have a way to move the data into my sd card. please show me a good, reliable and a safe option

Surely rooting my phone I can pass the applications to the sd card. The problem is that I have not yet found a good post that explains how to root xperia sp with the latest version of firmware. Xperia SP (c5302).
