@uliwooly
Great news.
Yesterday I was about to throw my T2 Ultra Dual in the trash, but I tried a last attempt to save it.
And it worked !!!
So I apologized for my harsh words, but still I don't change the meaning of what I said: these mistakes explain the reason why Sony is just a secondary player on the phone world.
I'm sure Sony lost thousands of consumers because of this very same problem that I faced, and because they are not required to know to fix it.
Anyways, I came here because I still believe in Sony and hope to help other custumers to fix this problem on updating to Lollipop, and thus abandon Sony.
What I did is to follow the instructions on XperiaBlog:
These instructions are very accurate but you have to pay very attention, otherwise you'll lose your phone.
Note that will be needed a Desktop or notebook to update this way.
PS @uliwooly if you could forward this message to Sony's directors, I think will contribute positively.
Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours > then repair it with PCC

Ok, I did.
This is what I have
Right now the phone's state keeps changing from this screen to off state. Seems like the phone is booting indefinately.
Should I wait 3 hours?
What happens then?
Thanks in advance.
I found this picture on google.
This is exactly what I have right now.
I can see them now, just charge your phone for a while and start the update process all over
Can't you see the link also ?
