One day my Active just started vibrating, for every touch when i write... I can not find a way to get it to stop and it seriously pisses me off... it ushes a lot of power and makes my phone wery slow... What's happened and how is this fixed?????
Solved! Go to Solution.
It sounds like vibration is enabled in the keyboard settings. Go to Settings -> Language & input -> Xperia keyboard -> Sound and vibrate and disable vibration on keypress.
Settings > sound > scroll to the bottom > haptic feedback
Thanks, but thats not helping since its not the funktion buttons there's vibrating, I already tried turning it on and off a few times 😕 Its when I write... when ever I push a letter/number/enter/etc. its vibrating as a feedback...
you are supposed to uncheck vibrate on touch
RIchard: Thank you , that really helped a lot 😄
It works! God bless you! I feel like crying!
Thanks for this thread! It was driving me crazy as well!!!
Hello everyone
I've been a fan of Sony ever since I bought my first digital camera back in the late 90's. After upgrading through 4 different Blackberry handsets, I finally picked up a Xperia M2 this morning and have been working my way through the settings. One major thing which was frustrating me was solved in this discussion by Rickard, so I'd just like to say thank you for that. Now I can type without the constant vibrations during a key press.
Incidentally I was originally after a Z1 but they had none left and I'm happier doing my business in-shop rather than having to get it delivered. I will miss my Blackberry 9900 though. It really was a good phone.
Best regards
Gavin
